They feel as though the middle class is not being helped enough and that government officials aren't doing anything to help. This graph is part of a national survey by Pew Research Center done in 2015, among 1,500 adults, finds that 62% say the federal government does not do enough for middle-class people. Americans think that neither political party has a clear edge when it comes to championing middle-class interests.
